Satellite Think Tank

Design for this new loft space occupies a former car elevator shaft from the 1940’s car showroom adapted for a video-production advertising company. It takes advantage of the space enclosed by the cast in place concrete walls by vertically stacking a viewing room, production space and a private office allowing natural light to filter through large overhead skylight. This would act as a breakout satellite to their main office where special projects could occur.  The project although not built, creatively envisioned recapturing and enhancing the unique qualities of a dramatic and underutilized space.
